Get advice
Inform yourself with the Employment Agency, your Jobcenter, or directly with the Investment Bank Brandenburg (ILB) whether your course is eligible for funding.
Prepare your application
Collect all important documents:

- Identification documents
Submit application to the ILB
Submit your application in good time before the course begins to the Investment Bank of the State of Brandenburg.
Important: You must submit the application before registering for a seminar, reserving a place, or signing a contract.
Once you have submitted the application and received a confirmation of receipt, you may register for the course.
Receive the grant
You initially pay the course fee yourself to the provider.
You will receive the grant after completing the training once you provide proof of how the funds were used (proof of use).
Then ask the ILB or your provider about alternatives such as the Bildungsscheck, for example in cases of threatened unemployment or funding for obtaining a professional qualification (however, not for full vocational training leading to a professional degree – such as master craftsman or certified business administrator).
