Nils, our founder, wanted to build something that combines his passion for personal development with something meaningful that benefits both himself and others. That’s how MBU was created.

We see Bildungsurlaub as a powerful tool for personal development and a healthy work-life balance, and we want to share this message with the world!

A central part of our mission is also to give outstanding Bildungsurlaub providers visibility, regardless of their marketing budget. Because we want to connect high-quality courses with people who are exactly looking for them.

We reach people who want to grow professionally and personally. MBU connects participants, providers, and companies that promote further education and are committed to health, well-being, and a new way of working. We work fully remotely and self-organized in a team of motivated people who are rethinking the future of work.
